Office of the Chairman

According to the provision of the Private University Act-2010, Md. Mizanur Rahman is the newly elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees, North Western University and North Western University Trust. The Board of Trustees (BOT), the apex body that provides the overall policy guidelines and approves all decisions of the university syndicate and the annual budget of the university, is headed by its chairman.

A respected entrepreneur and dedicated social worker, Mr. Rahman is the CEO of Intrepid Broadband Communication Ltd., United Communication & Service, Intrepid International, and Skybiz Communication Network.

Born in 1972 in a prominent Muslim family in Khulna, he is the son of the late Sarwar Rahman, former president of the Khulna Chamber of Commerce. For the past 16 years, he has also played a key role in anti-fascist movements and the July mass uprising.

Under his proper guidance and able leadership, North Western University, a philanthropic organization, is heading towards progress. Revenue obtained from the university is being reinvested for the overall development of this institution and the enhancement of all types of academic facilities. For his diverse experience in leadership, the university has by this time made remarkable progress.
